Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
This beautiful old church has been the central focus for the village for many centuries, located centrally and circumnavigated by a single lane road. A church has stood on this spot since prior to 1254, but was almost entirely rebuilt in 1862. To the west of the church lies the spinney (see Spinney Project page).
Bridge evening
A party bridge evening is being held at Llantonian Hall, Llantwitt Major on Tuesday 20 October in aid of church funds in St Mary Church. Refreshments will be included in the ticket cost of £5 per person. Many thanks to Derek Branch of the Llantwitt Major bridge club for his very generous provision of bridge tables and equipment for the evening.
